Panoramas

To create the RiverWeb exhibits, each museum selected a river stretch of at least 20 miles in length. You can look at these stretches in the EXPLORE module in this website. Each museum in the RiverWeb Museum Consortium examined their stretch of river for typical and interesting locations. Once they found these locations, they created panoramas -- 360° or 180° -- which capture the view. It's almost like being there in person!

Viewing the panoramas requires the QuickTime VR browser plug-in, available for free at Apple Computer's web site.
