Where is the Mississippi located?
The Mississippi River starts in Minnesota and ends at the Gulf of Mexico.
It splits the United States into two parts: east and west of the Mississippi. It runs beside or through ten states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
